Bronzers allow for a darker tan, boost melanin production, and moisturize skin. Bronzers range in color.
Natural bronzers contain ingredients like walnut shell or fig.
Cosmetic bronzers darken immediately and will wash off with water.
Delayed bronzers contain DHA, a clear tanning agent. DHA takes about 4 hours to develop, but will last several days.
Some bronzers contain a mixture of each bronzer for maximum bronzing experience.
An intensifier/accelerator lotion has ingredients that will hydrate and tan your skin. There are zero bronzers in this type of lotion. It has ingredients that work with the melanin in your skin. You will only see the color that your melanin produces. The lotion is white so it doesn’t have bronzers to darken your tan while your tan develops naturally.
Tingles are recommended for experienced tanners only the moisturize and boost melanin production, but they only contain a tingle ingredient. This ingredient increases blood flow, while making the skin warm and tingly for about 45 minutes. This allows for a deeper tan. Some tingles contain bronzers for maximum darkness.
